* Students can submit nominations in all categories EXCEPT: School District, Early Education, School Board, Community Partner)

 

School Districts/Charter Networks may submit up to two (2) nominations per category.

Example: If there are three “Teacher of the Year” categories (Elementary, Middle, and High School), your district may nominate up to two educators for each level.

 

 

 

Nomination Limits

To keep the selection process fair and balanced across all districts and campuses, the following limits apply:

 

Districts:

Each school district may submit up to two (2) nominations per category.

Example: If there are three “Teacher of the Year” categories (Elementary, Middle, and High School), your district may nominate up to two educators for each level.

 

Schools:

Each individual school campus may submit one (1) nomination per award type.

 

Example: A high school can submit one nomination for “High School Teacher of the Year” and one for “School Counselor of the Year,” but not two teachers for the same category.

 

Individuals:

Each individual nominee may be nominated in only one category per year. Individual nominees can be submitted for consideration for more than one category, however they can only be nominated for one category per year.

Example: A teacher nominated for “Middle School Teacher of the Year” cannot also be nominated for “STEM Educator of the Year” in the same award cycle; however, the teacher may be submitted for nomination consideration in more than one category during the nomination submission process.
